The results show that the rate effects are clear for these test methods, and the tensile strength of sandstone will increase linearly with the logarithm of the loading rate. At the same loading rate, it is found that the tensile strengths of the sandstone specimens under plate loading and arc loading are relatively similar and are much greater than the direct tensile strength, while the tensile strength under strip loading is less than the direct strength. A comprehensive comparison suggested that the strip loading method can be adopted for the Brazilian disc test, while the obtained strength should be modified with a coefficient of 1.37 to obtain the direct tensile strength.]]> Wed 26 Oct 2022 19:40:06 AEDT ]]> Will Business and Human Rights regulation help Rajasthan's bonded labourers who mine sandstone? https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:48547 Wed 07 Feb 2024 15:04:55 AEDT ]]> Evolution of mechanical parameters of deep sandstone and its constitutive model under the condition of different stress paths https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:41206 Thu 28 Jul 2022 11:26:20 AEST ]]> Weathering rates of sandstone in a semi-arid environment (Hunter Valley, Australia) https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:5472 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:47:05 AEDT ]]> Weathering rates of sandstone in a semi-arid environment (Hunter Valley, Australia) https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:3314 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:23:21 AEDT ]]> Fracture behavior and damage mechanisms of sandstone subjected to wetting-drying cycles https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:44894 Mon 24 Oct 2022 15:42:35 AEDT ]]>
